When two agencies are using WITS, the Referral Module allows electronic transfers of client data between them. Based on consents granted by the client, the receiving agency could have access to the client’s profile, assessments, and other relevant records. This eliminates the need to re-enter profile information. It also allows encounters at the second agency to be captured under the same client ID, giving a more accurate count of unduplicated clients across the county.
