The WITS software requires no initial or recurring licensing fee and the source code is immediately available to Counties that implement the system.

In order to be sensitive to the many different funding profiles and range of sizes across the California counties, FEI worked together with our initial County partners to develop a fair pricing model based on support and hosting demands. Additionally, both CalOMS and Medi-CAL modules were developed using shared funds across San Diego, Sonoma, Marin, and Mendocino counties. We will also support future collaborative module development for counties where technical requirements are similar.
